Crown of India in Oberursel (Taunus)

Fast delivery. Okay in taste. Unfortunately the wrong one was delivered. A vegan starter mix was ordered, which was then chicken. Something like that shouldn't happen. Will not order anything here anytime soon.

We ordered there at the beginning of December 2020. The food is delicious. The specified delivery time was met and the food arrived warm. We had two starters and two main courses. We also received a large portion of rice. The price-performance ratio is right here. The restaurant can be recommended without reservation. We will definitely order there again.

Ordering online runs zero point zero. Three calls and 1 hour later we had to realize that the delivery will never come !!

Good food. Chicken tikka, Lamm tikka very nice. Service is slow. After 45 mins owner came and confirmed our order again. We got food after more than 1 hour. Owner told as they had many Home delivery orders, that's why it was late. But food was tasty. Will go again.

I came here with my friends and liked the food. However we discovered that the best thing to order when you come as a group are the ´Thalis` and the best tip I can give you is that you have to say you want to have the Indian style of cooking if you like spicy food. Since we are familiar with Indian food, we were just disappointed that some of the dishes were mild and sweet.

The drink (iced tea) was diluted so much in the water that it was almost transparent and one could hardly guess the typical iced tea taste. The portion was very small, especially for the price, because for two main dishes, each of which (!) Included rice, we got a single bowl of rice and a spoon, which meant we had to eat the meat without rice at the end. When I order a drink, I want this drink undiluted and when we order main dishes, rice should be provided for each of the guests. I feel ripped off, a shop that tries to "cash in" a lot quickly, but doesn't think about the fact that the customers are no longer coming.

The food was very, very tasty! The staff are very friendly and respond to requests and requests! However, you should bring enough time to eat, as the Indian way of cooking (everything freshly and warmly prepared) and eating takes your time. What I personally like and enjoy (relaxes and decelerates the often hectic everyday life !!!) Okay in terms of price. I would definitely like to come back again!

If you like Indian cuisine in the Taunus, you can't miss the Crown of India in Oberursel. Charming ambience without hectic, courteous service with humor and a variety of Indian cuisine that only makes the menu selection stressful.

Can recommend the butter chicken, well seasoned not spicy but spicy. Portion could be a bit bigger, otherwise OK!

The high quality and the excellent taste of the different dishes we tasted surprised me very much. Really everything, including bread, was perfect for my taste. I have not been able to enjoy such consistently good Indian cuisine for many years. Added to this was the extremely friendly and professional service from the staff and the neat, tasteful decor. And all this on the terrace and in the warm summer evening air ..... almost like in a beautiful garden in Kerala! Compliments!

Amazing food even more amazing staff and service.

It was one of the most authentic Indian cuisine restaurant. Cook is very well cooked with all spices in balance and meats are also well cooked with proper juiciness. I often eat twice monthly. Go try it out :)

Good food made with care. The outside patio is a great place to enjoy when the weather is good. Inside is casual enough for families but nice enough for dates and entertaining.

If you are vegetarian, think twice before going for Mittags buffet. Limited options!

The food is super authentic and the portions are large. The prices are between 7-17€ but the menu has awesome options. The staff is super nice and helpful and the food is delicious!

Without reservation, we still got a table for 2 still. We did not stay in another Indian restaurant before. All servers were very friendly and accommodating. Jacket was brought into the dressing room, when rice was missing, was asked directly for lookup and finally gabs a delicious liquor and a spice mixture for digestion and for the good breath. All dishes were delicious, since the waiting time did not matter.

A solid choice for the typical Indian fare. Good selection also of vegetarian options, delicious Tandoori dishes. Nice seating on the terrace outside with a view on the "Vorstadt".

A good restaurant. Food is good. Before you go check check out their menu. Stays are friendly. If you want support food, tell them before you order. So they make it spicy .To spend time with someone. Biriyani is my favorite over there. Also enjoy the beer

Such a wonderful find! The best tasting Indian food in Frankfurt! Authentic dishes. Great presentation. Good value. It is worth the trip from downtown to experience an excellent host serving awesome food. If you’re nervous about the spicy, they can turn it down for you, or happy to dial it up.

Super delicious Indian food on personal request. Is taken into account without hesitation. Too spicy food was even exchanged for milder food without any ifs and buts. The service is very friendly. The prices correspond to the quality of the food. But are really in the frame. It's always fun to eat here. We will be back

Average British-style North Indian. We had chicken balti and aloo gobi for lunch. The sauce was not bad, but unevenly spiced (really hot in parts, not hot in others), and the chicken had not been marinated before cooking. The aloo gobi was nice with a nice blend of spices.
